In a distant land, I dreamed of a new start,
To walk a path, and make my mark.
I packed my bags, embracing the unknown,
Seeking home in a place not yet my own.

But as I settled in that foreign place,
A pain remained, I could not erase.
My skin, my accent, set me apart,
Like a misfit puzzle piece, trying so hard.

So back I came, to where my journey began,
Yet even here, I now feel a foreign man.
The streets I knew now seem strange and new,
No longer home, feels unfamiliar in view.

Where do I belong? Where is my home?
I wander lost, between two lands I roam,
Each step a search, each breath a quest,
For a place to someday find my rest.

Where do I belong? Where do I belong?
